The Young and the Restless spoilers for next week’s episodes of the hit CBS soap hinting that things are gradually building up as May approaches.

Things have stayed pretty much the same in Genoa City over the last several weeks.

The sole intriguing plot development was that Alan, played by Christopher Cousins, was actually Martin, and he was responsible for both Phyllis, portrayed by Michelle Stafford, and Sharon, acted by Sharon Case, being kidnapped.

Other than that, Y&R viewers have been dealt many of the same conversations with little movement or revelations.

Fingers crossed, changes might come around during sweeps month, which is coming up soon.

However, next week, enthusiasts won't experience any stunning moments on The Young and the Restless

Nikki and Victor harbor secrets.

The relationship between Claire (Hayley Erin) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) has become a hot topic in Genoa City. Victor (Eric Braeden) has made his feelings known about the couple, even enlisting Audra (Zuleyka Silver) to split them up.

Victor remains unaware of Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) scheme to aid her granddaughter. Encouraged by Nikki, Claire decides to move forward with Kyle.

It appears that Nikki isn't the sole person keeping secrets. Even the mustache maintains ignorance among his spouse regarding certain matters. These undisclosed topics might involve Claire and Kyle, his vengeance against the Abbott family, or perhaps even the enigmatic Aristotle Dumas.

As Claire seeks support from Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Cole (J. Eddie Peck) during her romantic troubles, Kyle faces an extremely challenging life choice.

Audra and Jack remain stunned.

Diane (Susan Walters) has been putting in extra hours for several weeks to refurbish the Abbott family estate.

Diane is eager to make an impression on Jack (Peter Bergman) with her redesign. Fans of The Young and the Restless will witness the reveal of the revamped Abbott mansion next week when Diane shocks both Jack and Kyle by presenting it to them.

Audra faces a lecture from Lily (Christel Khalil), who is clearly upset about Holden (Nathan Owens). Holden likes to keep things interesting for Audra, but this irritates Lily because Audra is involved with Nate ( Sean Dominic).

Holden’s next move leaves Audra facing yet another problem in her relationship.

Speaking of Nate, he shares an update on Amy’s (Valarie Pettiford) condition with her and Damian (Jermaine Rivers).

Daniel (Michael Graziadei) reaches a turning point. To assist him progress, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) comes forward.
