To keep their unbeaten streak intact through sheer happenstance, Xavier Woods brought a steel chair into the ring from outside. After the referee looked away, Ivar took hold of the chair when Woods handed it over. This resulted in the referee signaling for a disqualification and proclaiming New Day as the victors, though this did not affect the championship status since the belts remained unchanged.
Following the conclusion of the match, it appeared that things would escalate further when the War Raiders went after the New Day members. However, Erik ended up being slammed against a metal chair positioned within the turnbuckles, while Ivar was tossed out onto ringside where he collided with the timekeeper’s station. Then, Woods kept Erik stationary so that Kofi Kingston could climb the top rope, aiming to exploit Erik's previously injured neck for an advantage; yet, referees quickly intervened at this critical moment. Consequently, those who emerged victorious via disqualification celebrated their win by walking back up the entrance ramp amidst intense boos and heckling from spectators, leaving Erik and Ivar behind them in distress.
