At the Nine Upfronts event in October 2024, the channel announced that regular Australians will embark on another grand journey across the globe for an eighth season of adventures.

During the 2025 season, audiences will follow along as families, friends, and couples navigate through the urban landscape of New York City, the natural wonder of Kakadu in the Northern Territory, travel experiences in Thailand without breaking the bank, and even venture into the majestic Swiss Alps.

This fresh show guarantees an equally entertaining and inspiring experience for viewers. our Guides "explore various destinations and tick off these holiday bucket lists along with numerous others," the statement from Nine said.

Travel Guides experienced an outstanding year in 2024 thanks to its primetime television slot, securing its third successive TV Week Logie Award for Best Lifestyle Show. Additionally, every Guide awarded the Cook Islands a top rating of five stars.
