Texan Country Star Shines at the Rodeo

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage — Local Texan country artist Case Hardin speaks with KLST-TV’s Carolyn McEnrue about performing in his home town.

Hardin mentioned that folks at the Buffalo Social Club can enjoy an uninterrupted 90-minute session of pure country classics this coming Friday evening.

"It’s always enjoyable to compete at my local rodeo," stated Hardin.

He noted it's pleasant to return home and sleep in his own bed since he spends so much time traveling. Hardin discussed how closely bonded they become with their teammates during these trips. Continuing along this line of thinking, he also expressed excitement about performing at this venue and possibly playing in the Colosseum someday if it undergoes renovations.

The following topic they discussed was the start of his career, which began 13 years prior when he was finishing up his final year of high school.

"That summer, I sort of wanted to figure out my musical direction," stated Hardin.

He mentioned that joining the American Idol Tour significantly boosted his popularity. Hardin confessed that he achieved much more success than he initially expected. Afterward, he formed a band and began performing throughout Texas.

Hardin is set to release a new album in September featuring 13 tracks. He characterized it as traditional country music reminiscent of his childhood days.
