Reese Witherspoon is an avid bibliophile, serving as a wellspring of motivation for countless individuals when they're choosing their next book to dive into.

Each month, the actress selects one book to shine a spotlight on an array of influential and gifted female writers.

Reese’s Book Club is closely associated with her production company, Hello Sunshine , which has has adapted numerous novels into movies and television series .

Speaking to Backstage Regarding her selection process, Reese disclosed, "The primary criterion I use to determine whether I'll go for a book club read or select a TV script or film is if it's something you'd be eager to recommend to a friend."

“I aim to create a sense of community and dialogue centered around art and entertainment, as I deeply enjoy bringing people together through narratives. I constantly seek innovative angles on coming-of-age tales, midlife transition stories, or fresh interpretations of romantic comedies. Given that there are countless untold stories spanning millennia, we have plenty of ground to cover and new territory to explore.”

As 2025 is now underway, we've compiled a list of Reese Witherspoon’s book club selections for this year!

Everything Life Has to Offer by Emily Everett

April

Everything Life Has to Offer by Emily Everett Reese’s Book Club has chosen this as their selection for April, and it’s a fictional story about Anna, who relocates to London with dreams of leaving behind her modest origins but instead discovers she is barely scraping by financially.

Anna secures a tutoring position with the affluent Wilder family in Saint-Tropez and finds herself immersed in an opulent universe filled with lavish events and romantic entanglements. While adjusting to this sophisticated lifestyle, Anna must ponder what compromises she is prepared to make to belong, all whilst wrestling with her history and personal identity.

This selection had me captivated from the moment I began listening to the audiobook. Everything Life Has to Offer “Emily Everett’s book revolves around themes of love, ambition, and the price one pays for fitting in; it keeps lingering in my mind,” said Reese.

The actress tuned into the audiobook and mentioned she was "captivated" right from when she began listening!
