Pennsylvania: Top State for Remote Working

Although the number of remote workers has decreased both locally and nationally; however, options for remote work persist. The Keystone State placed seventh on the new list by personal finance company WalletHub , which ranked all 50 states and Washington, D.C., based on how suitable they are for remote workers.
The rankings were established considering multiple criteria such as the percentage of individuals who work remotely, availability of affordable web connectivity, degree of cyber threats, and cost of electrical power.
In terms of access to affordable wired broadband, Pennsylvania was ranked eighth. The state took seventeenth place for median square footage per person within households. For cybersecurity measures, it stood at nineteenth position, and when considering the percentage of employees who work from home, which was recorded as 13.8%, it secured twenty-first spot. Additionally, Pennsylvania’s ranking dropped to thirty-sixth concerning the average cost of electricity.
