'Mortified': Rosamund Pike Reveals the Real Story Behind Her Steamy Bond Scene With Pierce Brosnan

Rosamund Pike has informed us that although Pierce Brosnan might not have been shaken or stirred on the set of their James Bond The film depicted her believing he had been stripped down somewhat.

This past week's discussion was about David Tennant In his podcast, Pike reminisced about shooting the 2002 James Bond movie. Die Another Day where she was alongside Brosnan and Halle Berry.

At the age of 22, Pike portrayed the Bond girl Miranda Frost alongside Brosnan.

While filming an intimate scene on a bed adorned with fake fur, Pike mentioned she had worn nipple covers held in place with adhesive tape.

"I get into this scuffle, and after separating, I glance at the body tape and the nipple covers which are all hairy," Pike recounted during the podcast.

Pike chuckled when she recalled thinking, "I literally believed I was waxing the poor guy's chest."

Pike mentioned that Brosnan was an "absolute gentleman who 'could not have been more supportive or kind' during their work on the movie."

It marked her debut as a box-office sensation; she later took part in additional films such as Jack Reacher in 2012 and Saltburn in 2023.

In an interview conducted in August 2024 with Wired , Halle Berry commended her experience of collaborating with Brosnan on Die Another Day.

Berry mentioned that as a fan of Pierce Brosnan, he brought back his belief in the goodness of men through one of his movies.

No one could be more of a gentlemen than Pierce Brosnan among humans.
