Man Fatally Shot During Disturbance in County Durham
A man in his 50s was tragically killed by gunfire in what police described as a 'deeply disturbing event' in northern England.
Police responded to calls about an altercation on Elm Street in Stanley around 5:20 pm yesterday afternoon.
A male around 50 years old was discovered with gunshots at a location in County Durham. Despite efforts by emergency medical responders, he was declared deceased at the same site.

The gentleman's relatives have been notified about his demise and are being supported by specialized personnel.
