Man Carries Giant Wooden Cross Across Tennessee Valley for Easter

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WAFF For the second consecutive year, a man from Alabama is walking through the Tennessee Valley with a massive 13-foot wooden cross to commemorate Easter.
On Friday, Steve George transported a large display around Big Spring Park to commemorate Jesus Christ.
As George bore this burden, he wore a rough garment of sackcloth to symbolize turning away from sinful acts.
His distinctive method of marking Good Friday definitely conveyed a strong message throughout downtown Huntsville today.
George mentioned that it all symbolizes Jesus' sacrifice.
We must bear the cross until Jesus returns, and some will claim that we shouldn’t be carrying the cross since it has already been accomplished," George stated. "Though He completed the work, we still have to carry the cross, which represents our ministry.
George similarly ventured into the Arab City Park to disseminate his distinctive spiritual teachings.
He mentions that he transports the cross in his truck for two weeks leading up to Good Friday with the intention of reminding everybody about the spiritual significance of the Easter holiday.
