Here are the safety guidelines that the LPD urges the community to adhere to for this Easter:

Travel and traffic safety

No matter if you're traveling to another town or just moving around within the city, make sure to wear your seatbelt and confirm that every passenger has theirs fastened as well.
Children should be fastened in a suitable, correctly installed child safety seat—particularly when journeying on highways with high speed limits.
Follow speed regulations and stay focused while operating a vehicle.

Don't drink and drive

Should your Easter festivities involve alcohol, make sure to arrange for a designated driver, rideshare, or taxi beforehand.
Refrain from operating any type of motorized transportation while impaired. This encompasses automobiles, lorries, bikes, and all-terrain vehicles.

ATV safety warning
