Kelsea Ballerini Gifts Boots to Lucky Fan at Recent Show

ONTARIO, Canada (WSMN) – During her inaugural concert performance alongside Kelsea Ballerini’s headline act, a young girl was treated to an unexpected delight.

On April 13, during the final performance of her tour in Toronto, Ballerini handed over her pair of sparkling pink boots to 4-year-old Ev.

Many fan-recorded videos captured Ballerini making eye contact with Ev as she was nestled in her father's embrace.

“What I’m considering," Ballerini stated, "is that even though you're so small right now, you're growing up. So perhaps someday soon, these boots might fit you."

Ballerini mentioned that she wore the boots only four times, so they shouldn't be "too smelly."

And perhaps by the time you wear them, they won't feel sweaty anymore," Ballerini remarked. "Would you like them?

Ballerini handed the boots to the security guard, who then gave them to Ev.

Ballerini questioned, “Can you promise to send me a picture when she manages to fit into them?”

Ev grinned and gave a nod, still holding the boots.

Following the performance, Ev sported the pink boots alongside a shirt emblazoned with "In My Rodeo Days."

Ballerini's father, Tanner, mentioned he wished to tell their story to demonstrate what sort of individual Ballerini really is.

“My daughter is only 4, but she already looks up to Kelsea,” he shared with WSMV4.

Ballerini experienced quite a rollercoaster year following the commencement of her self-named three-month tour in January 2025.

In March 2025, she unveiled the deluxe edition of Patterns, which includes five additional tracks.

She became part of NBC’s The Voice for Season 27, stepping into the role of one of the new coaches. She made several guest appearances on this reality TV singing show.

During Season 15, she acted as the "fifth coach" throughout the digital series called Comeback Stage. The next season, she took on the role of advisor for Team Kelly in Season 16. Then, in Season 20, she stepped in temporarily for Kelly Clarkson when Clarkson had a brief illness.

Ballerini is set to perform at CMA Fest on June 6.
