CNN’s Kaitlan Collins battled valiantly on her show Friday evening as she struggled not to burst out laughing after being distracted by an unexpected interruption that caused her to lose focus on her teleprompter.

It wasn't clear precisely what amused him. the host , however, after wrapping up an interview with two guests, Collins could hardly make it to the commercial break.

The host thanked Alex Isenstadt From analysts at Axios and CNN specializing in politics Seung Min Kim following a conversation regarding the trade advisor from the Trump administration Peter Navarro .

She then teed up a teaser for the show’s return, but barely made it through the beginning of the script:
