A shocked pair inadvertently tore away the screen of their newly purchased smart TV after mistakenly believing they were simply taking off the protective covering.

American TikToker Kelsey and her spouse recognized their significant error when they recorded themselves unboxing items following their relocation. Spain .

Kelsey, known as @kumalashstudio on the internet, posted video clips showing when she became aware of what occurred, which has since gone viral. TikTok .

"So essentially, what happened is similar to when you receive a new TV with a protective film on it that typically gets removed; we mistakenly believed this was that protective covering," she explains.

Kelsey subsequently shared an update, mentioning that Samsung was 'fine' with the situation and went as far as offering to replace the television.
