What is the scheduled date for the Kuiper launch?

A set of 27 Kuiper satellites is planned to launch aboard a United Launch Alliance Vulcan rocket from Cape Canaveral on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Eastern Time.

At 6:46 p.m. on Wednesday, the scheduled Kuiper rocket launch hit a halt because of poor weather conditions, according to Weather Officer Brian Belson.

The launch has been canceled for now. An updated launch date and timeframe will be announced later.

Project Kuiper aims to deploy over 3,000 satellites into low Earth orbit within the coming several years as part of their satellite network initiative.

Much like the SpaceX Starlink satellites, Amazon's Project Kuiper satellites are expected to expand global accessibility to affordable broadband internet.

Customers are expected to have access to internet services by late 2025.
