Allentown's Building 21 Shifts Focus: Embracing Computer Science and Health Care Careers

Next academic year, Allentown’s Building 21 High School plans to introduce a fresh emphasis on equipping students with skills needed for professions in artificial intelligence, computer science, and healthcare.
The district shared this information on their Facebook page on Thursday.
"Building 21 is set to undertake an innovative transformation to emerge as the next theme-based high school within the Allentown School District. This forward-thinking educational space aims to equip students with skills necessary for thriving in high-growth fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Science, and Allied Health," according to a statement made on their Facebook page by the district.
The initial stage of the curriculum change will involve increasing the number of computer science classes offered for the 2025-26 academic year.
